Helmet Fire Aviation is working in conjunction with the SARCAM crew to support fellow Coasties. All proceeds will be donated to the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance fund (CGMA).
SARCAM: Search and Rescue Camera. A team of 8 talented Coast Guardsmen who banded together to tell the story of those who go into harms way so that others may live. The term SARCAM is a play on the Department of Defense Combat Camera (COMCAM) teams, who go into combat zones armed with their service weapon and visual imagery equipment. We realized there was no term for our band of brothers, so SARCAM was born.
Our team is made up of Coast Guard Aviators, Aviation Maintenance & Electronics Technicians, Rescue Swimmers, Public Affairs and Auxiliarists from all Districts of the service.
